Wellington Village is a trendy, walkable neighbourhood filled with memories from the early 1900s mixed with modern shops and condos. It is close enough to the downtown core, but far enough away that it is an incredibly kid-friendly neighbourhood with quiet streets.

Wellington Village has an approximate population of around 5000 people. It is a part of the larger neighbourhood of Wellington West which includes Hintonburg.

In the 1800s, Westboro was actually a rural community filled with farms, sawmills, and more. Slowly, it developed a larger presence once it got an electric trolly running into downtown. Check out the Maplelawn estate, a National Historic Site from 1831! The Maplelawn Garden has the second oldest building in Ottawa!

The Westboro War Memorial was unveiled in 1985 and is dedicated to the memory of the fallen Westboro residents from the Great War, Second World War, and the Korea War.
