Welcome to Beacon Hill, a hilly community centred around a lighthouse.

Beacon Hill is a small community with a good number of toboggan hills, founded in the late 1960s. It is separated into two parts, Beacon Hill North and Beacon Hill South, separated by Montreal road.

  • Beacon Hill was founded in the 60s and grew into the 70s. The community most likely found their name from a lighthouse on the Ottawa River. This lighthouse could be seen from Naskapi Drive, the top of a hill, which lead to the name Beacon Hill.
