Welcome to Hunt Club, a South End community named after its Golf Club.

With three times more greenspace than the average community in Ottawa, Hunt Club is filled with beautiful views, close proximity to the airport, and plenty of job opportunities.

  • Hunt Club was named after the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, first developed in 1876.

The area was originally called The Uplands by earlier settlers.

The first real resident of the area was Captain Andrew Wilson, who built a log cabin and named it Ossian Hall.

When the Canadian Northern Railway opened service in the area, a quarry was later developed and the area began growing.
