Ottawa Magazine’s Best Restaurants is taking place at Lansdowne’s Horticulture Building this September 26th. Take part in an immersive culinary experience filled with vibrant and diverse food and drink options. The event takes place 7-10pm and is 19+.

Canada’s Great Kitchen Party will be coming to Ottawa for the regional qualified for the Canadian Culinary Championship!

Join them for an evening of “celebration and elevation of Canadian culture in food, sport, and music”. The winner of this competition goes on to compete at the Canadian Culinary Championship February 3rd and 4th. The event takes place at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute and competing chefs come from local restaurants like North and Navy.

Cranium Festival is back in Ottawa for 3 days of R&B and hip hop music with a lineup of more than 15 artists. The event is all ages and takes place at the Bronson Centre and The Rainbow Bistro. Tickets are still on sale.

Metcalfe Fair is around for another year - originally beginning 11 years BEFORE Canada’s confederation! This is the 166th edition of the fair presented by the Metcalfe Agricultural Society. Participate in tons of fun activities like the Demolition Derby, a Midway, local bands and artists, educational exhibits and events, Indigenous performances, sheep and cow shows, and more!

September 30th is the National Day of Remembrance for Canadian Indigenous communities. The day was created to inform, reconcile, and unite Canadians. There will be a ceremony on Parliament Hill and plenty of presentations and performances around town, including at Confederation Park.
