Welcome to Bayshore, a small neighbourhood in the west of Ottawa.
A neighbourhood centred around the Bayshore Shopping Centre, filled with diversity and community spirit.

Bayshore was first built in the mid 60s. Minto Group was the developer. As time went on, more townhouses and high rises were built.
Bayshore Shopping Centre was built in 1973, and was further extended in 1987.

Bayshore is a highly diverse place, with a large part of the population from the Philippines, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The area also has a large Muslim population, with the 2011 census reporting 34% of the population as Muslim.

This neighbourhood is primarily understood as being mainly rental homes. There are plenty of row townhouses, garden homes, and high-rise apartment buildings in the area.

Bayshore is a fairly small neighbourhood, but residents can enjoy the Bayshore Community Park and surrounding areas, or head down to the water to enjoy the absolutely massive Andrew Haydon Park.
