Welcome to Greely.

A suburban-rural community in Ottawa, located south of the city in the Osgoode-Ward. With a proximity to the downtown core, and relatively low property prices, Greely has been growing in size.

  • Greely was one of many villages, towns and cities to join the Ottawa amalgamation in 2001. Bounded by Bank Street and Mitch Owens Road by both the North and East, and on the West by Manotick, Greely is growing rapidly.

  • As of 2011, the population of Greely was 9,000 and growing.

  • Greely is a perfectly family-friendly neighbourhood with Elementary Schools and a library for the kids. The library is located inside the community centre on 1448 Meadow Drive. The two main Elementary Schools are Castor Valley Elementary School, 2630 Greys Creek Road, and Greely Elementary School, 7066 Parkway Road.

  • Currently, there aren't many shopping options in Greely, but there are future plans of building a Greely Village Centre which would consist of an updated community space and more shopping options.
