Welcome to Cyrville, a neighbourhood in the east end of Ottawa.

Cyrville was once a francophone farming village and is now mixed between residential and industrial land.

  • Cyrville is a small neighbourhood near industrial and shopping areas.

  • Cyrville has a population of around 4500 people.

  • Cyrville is not near any schools, and for many, the commute is fairly substantial.

  • Cyrville is close to the Pat Clark Community Centre and there is fairly regular programming in and around the shopping centres. Vanier may include some more community-oriented programming on a regular basis.

  • Cyrville is close to a few pet stores, the closest being Global Pet Foods in St Laurent. There are a few walking trails or parks in the area that are ideal for walking your dog.

  • Cyrville is a mostly industrial area and may not be the best neighbourhood for children, with few local schools and limited access to parks and outdoor spaces.

  • Cyrville is close to St Laurent Shopping Centre and just a short drive to the Rideau Centre.

  • There are plenty of grocery stores in the Cyrville area.

  • Cyrville doesn’t have a lot of options for evenings out, but is close enough to the downtown core for residents to take public transit to Bank Street, Elgin, or Byward Market.

  • Cyrville has a few restaurants in the area, with more leading closer to the downtown core.

  • Cyrville has a few condos and single-family homes, as well as townhouses.

  • Cyrville is not home to many parks other than Cyrville Park. Others are in nearby neighbourhoods.
