What’s Happening in Ottawa? October 31 - November 6
There is lots to see and do across Ottawa this coming week! From the tail end of Halloween celebrations across the city to some amazing festivals, gatherings, and feats of athletic ability - you won’t want to miss this lineup of events!

October 31
Halloween! Enjoy a series of events across the city (check out some of the tagged events in our previous blog post). During the day, check out some of Ottawa’s local farms for Halloween fun for the whole family! There will also be events across the city in the evening at various clubs, bars, and restaurants.
November 4
Outstanding in their Fields is a taste-and-buy event where guests can discover 100+ wines and ciders from all across Ontario! Guests will also have the chance to meet the winemakers.

November 5
International Vegan Film Festival is taking place, in person, on November 5th! Hosted by Wicked Kitchen, this event will feature two films: “SLAY” and “Eating Our Way to Extinction,” as well as 13 short films in the evening. If you can’t make it to the event, online screenings will run from the 7th to the 21st.
November 3-5
The Ottawa Canadian Film Festival is taking place November 3-5 to recognize, promote, and celebrate Canadian films and filmmakers! It will be taking place at the ByTowne Cinema.
November 6
The “Canzine Festival of Zines and Independent Print Culture” is Canada’s largest festival of zines and print culture. It features more than 200 artists, writers, and vendors. You can also participate in a number of presentations and workshops, including cool events like tarot card creation, game development, and starting your own zine!

November 6
Canada Army Run is taking place on November 6th after originally being postponed to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth. This unique event has a cannon start, and the medals for successful participants are dog tags - sticking with the military theme.
