August 22

Pride Week Flag Raising Ceremony is taking place at the Village Square Park at noon! Join Councillor Glen Gower in raising the pride flag for pride week. This event is taking place in Stittsville from 12-12:30.

Queer Folks is a showcase taking place at LIVE! On Elgin Monday night! Tickets are $15, or by donation depending on your budget, so that everyone can enjoy the show. The show runs from 6:30 - 9:30.

Capital Pride is putting on ‘Café au Gay’ an evening of live entertainment, spoken word, and acoustic music all by queer youth in the region!

showTHEM is a queer showcase celebrating diversity with performers like queens, kings, non-binary drag performers, burlesque dancers, and later, a dance party. The line up includes well known names in the Ottawa community, and it takes place at Afterlight, an underground lounge with snacks, cocktails, and wines! Open 8-11.

The National Arts Centre is hosting the Pride Pageant! Performers will be competing for the title of Mx, Mr, or Ms Capital Pride 2022.

Capital Pride is putting on an after party after the Pride Pageant! The event will be hosted at Queen St Fare, to celebrate the 2022/2023 contestants and see the Royal Court perform! The event takes place 10:30pm-2:30am.

August 27

National Capital Pride Run is back! The event starts at 10am, and participants (who must register) will run through Riverain Park on either a 2.5k or 5k route.

New Purveyors Block Party & Pride Parade

Join us outside the New Purveyors office (342 Gladstone) for a ton of fun including The Merry Dairy ice cream truck, face painting, inflatable jousting, and snacks and drinks.
