What’s happening in Ottawa? April 17-23

In Ottawa the week of April 17th-23 we’re seeing Easter celebrations, the beginnings of some summer celebrations, and a few unique gatherings for collectors and music lovers!

As always, you can find fun for the whole family downtown this week - so let’s get into some of the major events!

April 17-19

Enjoy Easter fun with friends and family at The Log Farm! Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, farm animals, and a kids play area. Spend time outdoors, celebrate the Spring season, and see some cute farm animals! Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

April 22-24

Get excited for summer at the Ottawa Cottage Life and Backyard show! This amazing exhibition will have vendors, samples, and trials for all things outdoor. Exhibits include docks, builders and contractors, green solutions, and cottage decor. You can also enjoy tons of food and entertainment, check out a huge selection of water toys, and more!

April 22-24

Also the weekend of April 22-24, enjoy the Inspirations Spring Art Show and Sale! This art show has free entry, but any donations will go to Canadian Guide Dogs or the Polycystic Kidney Disease foundation. It is hosted at the Manotick Curling Centre (with free parking!). Enjoy live music and plenty of amazing art.

April 21-24 

The Ottawa Grassroots Festival is back with music in both official languages as well as plenty of Indigenous voices! There are performances and workshops for artists of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. The days and Sunday are free - but weeknights you will need tickets! Check it out at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

April 23-24

Check out the ORAPEX - National Stamp Show at the Nepean Sportsplex! This year’s theme is Topicals, Thematics, and Illustrated Mail - the 59th edition of this show! There is free parking and admission.
