March Break is almost here in Ottawa! Students are ready for some time off… but are you ready to entertain them?

You and I
You and I is a ‘multi-sensory, playfully interactive adventure.’ This experience is designed for younger children and their guardians to explore colour, sound, touch, and movement. It is free to enter, and takes place right downtown at the Great Canadian Theatre Company on Wellington Street West. This excursion is on from March 8th to March 12th.

Disney On Ice - Find Your Hero
This great event is taking place from the 9th to the 12th of March. It will tell stories through your children’s favourite Disney heroes all about heroism - including Moana and Maui, Anna and Elsa, and The Little Mermaid! Check it out at the Canadian Tire Centre.

2023 Roller Party - Space Cadets
On Friday, March 10th roll around the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park! The theme is all things space - enjoy lights, music, and old-fashioned fun.

Sugarbush Events
Head over to the many farms in the Ottawa area - including Log Farm, Olde Maple Lane, Fulton’s Pancake House and Sugar Bush, and Proulx Farm for sugar shacks, farmhouse tours, wagon rides, petting zoos, and more. Tickets range from 8-12$ a person depending on the date, time, and location!

Ballet Edmonton
Enjoy four works created by three choreographers on Saturday, March 11th at 8 pm. This show will take plave at Southam Hall, and tickets range from 15 - 84 dollars.

Lord of the Rings in Concert
Over 250 musicians will be on stage to perform live to the motion picture in HD! Enjoy the fourth and final installment of the Lord of the Rings saga, live in concert! Taking place at TD Place Arena at Lansdowne Park on Saturday, March 11th from 7:30 pm onwards. Tickets for the show range from $75 and up.

Fire and Ice Winter Festival
The Fire and Ice Winter Festival takes place on Bank Street from the 17th to the 19th of March. It will feature amazing light and sound installations. The event is completely free, and takes over 4 blocks of Bank Street, including a silent disco!

Sigwan Festival
The Sigwan Festival is an authentic indigenous festival featuring food, workshops, and a marketplace. It will take place from March 18-19 at the Mādahòkì Farm, and is free to attend!

March Break at the Carlingwood Shopping Centre
Take part in amazing free events over the week of March 11th to 17th - including science experiments, Little Ray’s Reptile Show, and other science and magic shows!

Museum March Break Activities
Participate in a bunch of March Break activities for yourself and your children - free with admission - at the museums across Ottawa! The Aviation and Space Museum, Agriculture and Food Museum, the Science and Technology Museum, and the Museum of Nature will all be hosting extra programming during the March Break.

This show takes place at the EY Centre and will feature machinery, equipment, seeds, and agricultural services and associations! It takes place March 14th-16th and tickets cost between $12 and $15.
