New Purveyors & Bank Street Brew
New Purveyors was in search of a story that encapsulates the beginnings of the roots of Ottawa’s community, a strong bond we define ourselves by.
Bank Street Brew is made to tell this story, and to be shared amongst friends just like this story.
“The old purveyors of Bytown traded in lumber, sailing logs down our rivers on a path towards prosperity. A path towards building a community they could be proud to call their home. A path along the river bank.
In generations to come, this path would be paved by new purveyors. A street on the bank. A community full of pride both for its heritage and its humanity. A place where prosperity sails down rivers and roads, through shops and homes.”
The taste
“In a blind tasting, it would be almost impossible to say this German-style ale is not a lager. With its bright straw yellow colour; this beer hits your pallet with a complex yet subtle wash of biscuit and citrus, giving way to a crisp clean finish. Whether you are swinging a club at the Highlands, lazing on the dock, or watching the world go by from your Front Porch…. enjoy this crushable beauty.”

Why was Bank Street Brew created?
Bank Street Brew is just another way we’re looking to connect with our community. Community is everything to us, and we are always looking for new ways to integrate further into Ottawa and connect with our friends, colleagues, and clients.
Why Bank Street?
Bank Street is the hub of Ottawa - and we’re also located just to the side of it. We see how much of Ottawa intersects at this main artery of the city, and we wanted to use it as inspiration in creating a drink for our friends and clients.
What is New Purveyors?
New Purveyors is a real estate team based out of RE/MAX Hallmark in Ottawa. Our focus is on being a close part of the Ottawa community, because we recognize real estate is more than just the home you live in, but the community you’re a part of.
What else has New Purveyors created?
.As a team, we’re always looking to try new things. In addition to Bank Street Brew, we’ve also held Ottawa’s largest clothing drive (@ottawaclothingdrive on Instagram), a Block Party during Capital Pride, and more!
